Meredith Davis

Meredith Davis is in the final semester of her Master of Library and Information Science program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her professional interests lie primarily within cataloging, metadata, and digital libraries, but she also enjoys instructional design and teaching. After graduating in May 2026, she hopes to secure a full-time role related to cataloging or technical services at an academic library. When not working or studying, she enjoys baking, hiking, and crocheting. One fun fact about Meredith is that she has a pet rabbit named NyQuil in addition to two cats, Percival and Merlin. Meredith will be doing an internship with the Cataloging Maintenance Center (CMC) during the spring 2026 semester.

Chris Deitner

Born in Western, Massachusetts, Chris Deitner chose to pursue an undergraduate degree in Theatre at New York University and ended up with minors in Film Studies and English as well. After graduation, she held various jobs, including a brief stint at Citibank, all to stay in New York and support her work in theatre and short films created by other NYU graduates. Chris returned to Northampton, MA, to work in the music touring industry, which led to touring with musicals and dance shows as a stage and company manager. A move to Los Angeles drew her into feature animation production, documentary filmmaking, screenwriting coverage, and some live action work. The East Coast kept calling Chris back, and eventually she moved to Durham, NC, with her husband, Russell. Currently, she is in the middle of her second year at The University of North Carolina, Greensboro, in pursuit of an M.L.I.S. Past internships include a practicum with Lee County Libraries, being part of the podcast team at The State Archives of North Carolina, and assisting the Springfield Friends Meeting in High Point, NC, with their archives. Chris and her husband love video games and play music together as the Loot Junkies (currently playing Outer Worlds 2 - there is so much to loot in that game!). Chris will be fulfilling her capstone course (internship) with the Cataloging Maintenance Center (CMC) during the spring 2026 semester.
