The EBSCO Information Services Library Staff Development Award is an annual award consisting of $3,500 and a 24k gold-framed citation given to a library organization whose application demonstrates the greatest merit for a program of staff development designed to further the goals and objectives of the library organization.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Preservation and Access is accepting applications for the Sustaining Cultural Heritage Collections program. This program helps cultural institutions meet the complex challenge of preserving large and diverse holdings of humanities materials for future generations by supporting environmentally sustainable preventive care measures that mitigate deterioration, prolong the useful life of collections, reduce energy consumption, and strengthen institutions’ ability to anticipate and respond to disasters.
Applications are now being accepted for the third round of the Stephen T. Riedner Grant for Life Enhancing Library Programs for People Living with Dementia. Two $2,500 grants are available for libraries planning new services/programming for their patrons living with dementia. Just complete the application form and submit it by Feb. 23, 2024. You do not need to be a member of the American Library Association or the RUSA subdivision to apply.
The Save America’s Treasures grant program was established in 1998 to celebrate America's premier cultural resources in the new millennium. After more than 20 years, this grant program has awarded more than 1,300 grants totaling more than $300 million to projects across the United States. Funded projects, selected from 4,000-plus applications requesting $1.5 billion, represent nationally significant historic properties and collections that convey our nation's rich heritage to future generations.
In small and rural communities, the library is often positioned as a central hub that works to meet the various needs of all community members. Libraries Transforming Communities (LTC): Accessible Small and Rural Communities aims to provide community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities.
Up to 300 libraries will be awarded in this application period, part of ALA’s longtime community engagement initiative.
