The American Heart Association's "Libraries with Heart" Program

The American Heart Association (AHA) is interested in meeting all people where they are and providing greater access to blood pressure checks. For libraries this can include onsite, public access blood pressure monitors and/or opportunities for patrons to check out blood pressure monitors for use at home. Libraries must fulfill certain requirements and have a signed agreement with the AHA.

Money Smart Week

Money Smart Week began as a coordinated effort of the Money Smart Advisory Council, a diverse group of more than 40 Chicago-area organizations working together to promote personal financial literacy. The Chicago Fed convened the Council's first meeting in July 2001, during which members agreed to share resources and ideas to achieve greater public awareness of the programs and services available in the city of Chicago.
