DigitalLead:Rural Libraries Creating New Possibilities

From the PLA website:

Now accepting applications from libraries in select rural counties to help them establish mobile hotspot lending programs and to initiate or expand digital skills training programs and patron access to computers.  At least 50 libraries will be approved to receive new computers and other hardware, training and more.  Libraries nationwide will benefit from the training and tools collated by the project and released for use by PLA members and others.

Dierbergs

Dierbrgs understands there are many great groups serving the various needs of our communities. Dierbergs aligns and partners with 501(c)(3) organizations that fit within their giving priorities. (Public libraries should consider applying through their friends groups or foundations.)

Schnucks Cares

Whether it’s through permitting nonprofit solicitation events, providing donations for a cause that aligns with our corporate giving priorities, or donating to nonprofits through our My Schnucks Card (eScrip) program, we are committed to working together with nonprofit organizations to help strengthen the communities that we call home.

NEH Public Humanities Projects

From the National Endowment for the Humanities website:

The Public Humanities Projects program supports projects that bring the ideas and insights of the humanities to life for general audiences through in-person programming. Projects must engage humanities scholarship to analyze significant themes in disciplines such as history, literature, ethics, and art history. NEH encourages projects that involve members of the public in collaboration with humanities scholars or that invite contributions from the community in the development and delivery of humanities programming.

American Family Dreams Foundation Grant

The American Family Dreams Foundation, Inc builds on our long-standing commitment and support of communities we serve by offering grants to eligible non-profit (501c3) organizations.

The Dreams Foundation grant funding priorities are Life Long Learning (wrap-around educational programming or employment access and opportunity) and Basic Needs (food security, housing, transportation and childcare), which align with our organizational mission.

Verizon

Verizon funding supports education initiatives that provide underserved students with the skills needed for success in college or career. Applications are by invitation only and funding is prioritized to organizations that support education programs under Verizon Innovative Learning.

ConocoPhillips

From the ConocoPhillips website:

ConocoPhillips has an annual open-solicitation period from April 1 through July 31. During this timeframe, eligible charitable organizations may apply online for funding consideration for the following year.

The Sustaining Cultural Heritage Collections (SCHC) program helps cultural institutions meet the complex challenge of preserving large and diverse holdings of humanities materials for future generations by supporting sustainable conservation measures that mitigate deterioration, prolong the useful life of collections, and support institutional resilience: the ability to anticipate and respond to disasters resulting from natural or human activity.
