IHLS Marketing Microgrant

Do you have a small budget but big dreams for promoting your library? Would a few hundred dollars make all the difference? If yes, then we have exciting news for you! Illinois Heartland Library System is thrilled to announce our Marketing Microgrant, a new pilot grant program to help our smaller or rural libraries reach their communities!

Wells Fargo – Community Giving Program

Grant funding is focused on projects aligned with one of four focus areas: financial health, housing affordability, small business growth, and sustainability and environmental justice. Wells Fargo may consider grants to support other critical local needs and initiatives. Priority is placed on nonprofit programming supporting low- to moderate-income communities, addressing racial and social equity, and accelerating an inclusive economy.

Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities

In small and rural communities, the library is often positioned as a central hub that works to meet the various needs of all community members. Libraries Transforming Communities (LTC): Accessible Small and Rural Communities aims to provide community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities.

Up to 300 libraries will be awarded in this application period, part of ALA’s longtime community engagement initiative.
