Courier Drivers are a critical component to the provision of customer service. These positions sort and deliver books and other library materials to and from member libraries. Courier Driver services are provided Mondays through Fridays. These are part time positions working less than 20 hours per week paying $10.24 Hourly Rate. Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance. Candidate must have a valid drivers license for a minimum of 3 years. This position requires extensive periods of sitting while driving up to 300 miles daily. Requires the ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including but not limited tubs of books and other library materials.

The Cataloger performs original and copy cataloging, database maintenance, authority control, and provides training and inventory support for libraries. This position also resolves cataloging problems and aids in the maintenance of the online catalog. As part of the SHARE team, the Cataloger provides advice, offers training or demonstrations, and provides information on best practices and up-to-date polices in cataloging.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
A. Assist students, faculty, staff and community with research and information requests.
B. Teach online information literacy sessions and create instructional materials for first year seminar and writing courses.
C. Provide basic support and technical assistance for students using library computers (primarily MS Office, printing, scanning).
