IHLS Member Furniture Giveaway & Laptop Sale

November 10 & 11, 2022

9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

IHLS Edwardsville and Champaign Offices have furniture items we are giving away and training laptops at the Edwardsville office that are available for purchase! The furniture giveaway & laptop sale will be held for two days, Thursday, Nov. 10 & Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. These items will be first come, first serve and are for IHLS Member Library use only.

If you do not have transportation or assistance for the furniture items you select, we can hold the furniture for two weeks. After those two weeks, the furniture will be donated or scrapped. Please note: IHLS staff will not be available to help load or move items.

The laptops purchased will need to be taken on the day of purchase. These laptops are fully functional; however, they were originally purchased in 2014. They have been professionally maintained, and many have been upgraded to include Solid State Drives (SSDs). You can use the Novabench benchmarking score on the laptop list as a guide to the speed of each laptop.

If any member library staff are interested in these items for personal use, there will be a public event on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Acceptable forms of payment include Cash or Check.
