Ameren Cares

​​​​​​​The Ameren Cares program connects Ameren with the communities it serves through charitable giving. A key focus of Ameren Cares is to partner with nonprofit organizations that improve the quality of life of people living in Ameren's service territory. Ameren donates to non-profit organizations in Missouri and central and southern Illinois each year that are located within our service area. Our contributions target support for causes associated with: Environment, Youth and Education, Civic and Community, Health and Human Services, Arts and Culture. 

H. W. Wilson Library Staff Development Grant

From the ALA website:

An annual award consisting of $3,500 and a 24k gold-framed citation given to a library organization whose application demonstrates greatest merit for a program of staff development designed to further the goals and objectives of the library organization.

Preservation Heritage Fund Grant

From the Landmarks Illinois website:

Landmarks Illinois’ Preservation Heritage Fund grants are intended to provide monetary assistance to significant structures or sites in Illinois that are under threat of demolition, in imminent deterioration, in need of stabilization, in need of structural or re-use evaluation, or need to be evaluated for landmark eligibility. The Preservation Heritage Fund was established in 2004.

Dierbrgs understands there are many great groups serving the various needs of our communities. Dierbergs aligns and partners with 501(c)(3) organizations that fit within their giving priorities. (Public libraries should consider applying through their friends groups or foundations.)

Schnucks Cares

Whether it’s through permitting nonprofit solicitation events, providing donations for a cause that aligns with our corporate giving priorities, or donating to nonprofits through our My Schnucks Card (eScrip) program, we are committed to working together with nonprofit organizations to help strengthen the communities that we call home.

NEH Public Humanities Projects

From the National Endowment for the Humanities website:

The Public Humanities Projects program supports projects that bring the ideas and insights of the humanities to life for general audiences through in-person programming. Projects must engage humanities scholarship to analyze significant themes in disciplines such as history, literature, ethics, and art history. NEH encourages projects that involve members of the public in collaboration with humanities scholars or that invite contributions from the community in the development and delivery of humanities programming.
