The Sustaining Cultural Heritage Collections (SCHC) program helps cultural institutions meet the complex challenge of preserving large and diverse holdings of humanities materials for future generations by supporting sustainable conservation measures that mitigate deterioration, prolong the useful life of collections, and support institutional resilience: the ability to anticipate and respond to disasters resulting from natural or human activity.

IL Count Me In 2020

Beginning Fri., Feb. 1, Illinois community-based organizations can apply for funding to engage in Census 2020 outreach efforts. The grant application is now available for download and review . . . Organizations will be able to submit their RFPs through an online portal on Forefront's website from 11:59pm on Fri., Feb. 1 through 11:59pm on Thurs., Feb. 28.

Autism Speaks Grants Program

From the Autism Speaks website:

The Autism Speaks Local Impact Grant Program accepts applications from non-profit, 501(c)3 organizations for grant awards up to $5,000. The Norma and Malcolm Baker Recreation Program grants may be awarded to both non-profit and for-profit organizations up to $5,000. The objective of the Autism Speaks Local Impact Grants is three-fold:

• to promote local services that enhance the lives of those affected by autism spectrum disorders

• to expand the capacity to effectively serve the ASD community
