NASA@ My Library is a STEAM education initiative created to increase and enhance STEAM learning opportunities for library patrons throughout the nation, including geographic areas and populations currently underrepresented in STEAM education.

60 U.S. public and tribal libraries will be selected to become NASA@ My Library Partners.

About the Diversity Research Grant
The ALA Office for Diversity, Literacy, and Outreach Services sponsors this grant program which began in 2002 to address critical gaps in the knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion issues within library and information science.

Baker & Taylor/YALSA Collection Development Grant

From the ALA website, the purpose of the Baker & Taylor/YALSA Collection Development Grant is "to award $1,000 for collection development to YALSA members who represent a public library and who work directly with young adults ages 12 to 18. Up to two grants will be awarded annually."

Applications are currently being accepted. The deadline to submit applications is December 1, 2021.

Project Next Generation

Project Next Generation (PNG) offers grant funding to public libraries for the establishment of educational after-school programs that not only provide access to computers, software and various technology devices, but also hire mentors who are crucial to helping students develop self-confidence and pride in their newly acquired skills.

Oberman and Rich Reaching Forward Conference Grant

Oberman and Rich Reaching Forward Conference Grant

The grant recognizes the contributions of a support staff member to the library community and the role of support staff in libraries. The grant is open to support staff working in all types of libraries. Persons may nominate themselves or others. Recipient(s) will receive free registration to the current year Reaching Forward Conference and a framed certificate. The nomination deadline is March 31, 2021. Please contact Cyndi Robinson at robinson@ila.org.

'Game On!' Grants

The Games and Gaming Round Table of the American Library Association is proud to sponsor its annual grant program to enable libraries to develop gaming programs or collections for their patrons. Through the Game On! grants $500.00 will be available to be awarded either as one grant of $500 or two of $250 each to assist a library or libraries in developing gaming programs or collections for their communities.

Coretta Scott King Book Awards Donation Grant

Underfunded libraries, schools and non-traditional organizations that provide educational services to children are invited to apply to receive one of three Coretta Scott King Book Donation Grants. Every year, in the process of choosing the Coretta Scott King Book Award winners and honor books, the Ethnic and Multicultural Information Exchange Round Table (EMIERT) of the American Library Association receives multiple copies of over 100 titles by African American authors and illustrators.
